I started A Breath of Fresh Air Foundation (ABFA) to start my healing process after my beloved son, Char-Bonnett Gittens II (CJ), passed away from the childhood cancer of Osteosarcoma. CJ has always been a giving person that saw the best in every situation, person and always wanted to help those he loved or that was in need around him. Even during his time of battling Osteosarcoma, CJ thought of my mental and physical health. Therefore, ABFA wants to continue that caring love and support by way of assisting parents/caregivers with children that are currently going through cancer treatment or has lost a child to this dreadful disease; whether it's locating further assistance or recommendation amongst our partners or small monetary gesture to aid in day-to-day household operation. ABFA is here to show comfort, concern, and support.
